Aaine Mein Apni Surat Nazar Ati Hai
ایک دن ابو جہل رسول اکرم ﷺ کی خدمت میں آیا اور کہنے لگا کہ تمام بنو ہاشم میں آپ کی صورت ( نعوذ باللہ ) بہت قبیح ہے ، حضور ﷺ نے فرمایا تو نے سچ کہا۔ اسی اثناء میں حضرت ابو بکر صدیق وہاں تشریف لائے اور حضور کے روئے اقدس پر نظر ڈال کر فرمایا: یا رسول اللہ ﷺ آپ آسمان حسن کے آفتاب ہیں۔ حضور ﷺ نے فرمایا: تم نے بھی سچ کہا۔ اس وقت جو صحابہ کرام وہاں موجود تھے انہوں نے حضور ﷺ سے عرض کیا کہ یا رسول اللہ ﷺ آپ نے ابو جہل اور ابو بکر دونوں کو سچا کہہ دیا۔ یہ کیسے ہو سکتا ہے؟
حضور ﷺ نے فرمایا میں ایک صاف شفاف آئینہ ہوں، اس میں جیسا کوئی ہوگا ویسا ہی نظر آئے گا۔ یعنی اس آئینے میں ان دونوں نے اپنی اپنی صورت دیکھی۔
(جس کے سامنے بھی آئینہ ہو گا وہ اس میں اپنا اچھا برا سب کچھ دیکھ لے گا)۔
One day, Abu Jahl came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and said that among all Banu Hashim, your image (Nawz-e-Billah) is very ugly. In the meantime, Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq came there and looked at the Holy Prophet's face and said: O Messenger of Allah, you are the sun of beauty in the sky. The Prophet ﷺ said: You have also spoken the truth. The Companions who were present there at that time asked the Holy Prophet ﷺ that, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, you have told the truth about both Abu Jahl and Abu Bakr. How can it be?
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "I am a clear and transparent mirror. In other words, both of them saw their own image in this mirror.
(Whoever has a mirror in front of him will see all his good and bad in it).
