(حضرت علی کرم اللہ وجہہ سے عمل کا اخلاص سیکھو۔ اس اللہ کے شیر کو نفسیات سے پاک سمجھو۔)

ایک لڑائی (جہاد) میں حضرت علی کرم اللہ وجہہ نے ایک جنگجو کافر کو زیر کر لیا اور پھر تلوار سے اس کی گردن کاٹنے کا ارادہ کیا۔ نیچے پڑے ہوئے کافر نے آپ کے روئے مبارک پر تھوک دیا۔ اس پر شیر خدا نے تلوار ہا تھ سے ڈال دی اور کافر کو چھوڑ دیا۔ وہ کافر آپ کا رویہ دیکھ کر حیران رہ گیا اور پوچھا کہ یہ عفو در گذر کا کیا موقع ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا کہ میری تجھ سے لڑائی صرف اللہ کی خاطر تھی لیکن تو نے میرے منہ پر تھوک کر مجھے غصہ دلایا اور میرے دِل میں ذاتی انتقام کی خواہش پیدا ہو گئی۔ یوں لڑائی کا مقصد نصف خدا کے لیے اور نصف اپنی ذات کے لیے ہو گیا چونکہ میری ذات اور تلوار ہر شئے صرف اللہ تعالی کے لیے وقف ہے۔ اس لئے میں نے تمہیں چھوڑ دیا۔ اس کافر نے شیر خدا کی یہ تقریر سنی تو اس کے دل سے کفر و شرک کی نجاست دُور ہو گئی اور وہ مسلمان ہو گیا۔ اسے دیکھ کر اس کے بہت سے رشتے دار اور اہل قوم بھی حلقہ بگوش اسلام ہو گئے-

سچ ہے حلم کی تلوار لوہے کی تلوار سے زیادہ تیز بلکہ فتح و کامرانی میں سو لشکروں سے بڑھ کر ہے۔

In a fight (Jihad), Hazrat Ali Karamullah Rabiyyah overpowered an infidel warrior and then intended to cut his throat with a sword. The unbeliever lying down spat on your blessed cry. On this, the Lion God threw the sword from his hand and left the infidel. That unbeliever was surprised to see your behavior and asked what is this opportunity for forgiveness? You said that my fight with you was only for the sake of Allah, but you angered me by spitting on my face and a desire for personal revenge arose in my heart. Thus, the purpose of the fight became half for God and half for myself, because my self and sword are dedicated to Allah alone. That's why I left you. This unbeliever heard this speech of the Lion of God, the impurity of disbelief and shirk was removed from his heart and he became a Muslim. Seeing this, many of his relatives and people also converted to Islam.

It is true that the sword of Halam is sharper than the sword of iron, but more powerful than a hundred armies in victory.
